SGT. Bryan Robert McCabe, age 27, passed away August 11, 2013, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born in the United Kingdom on April 8, 1986. Bryan was a member of the NRA and had a passion for hunting. He joined the Army and attended Basic Training at Ft. Sill, OK. Following Basic Training, he attended Advanced Individual Training and graduated as a Horizontal Construction Engineer. SGT McCabe was assigned to the 161th Engineer Company, 27th Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C. In April 2013, SGT McCabe was assigned to Alpha Company "Sappers", 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 25th Infantry Division. SGT McCabe's military awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (1OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and the Army Parachute Badge. Bryan is preceded in death by his father, Noel McCabe and brother, Thomas McCabe. Survived by wife, Candice McCabe of Spring Hill, TN; children, Thomas and Aliza McCabe; mother, Yvonne McCabe of Chester, England; brother, Rich McCabe; in-law's, Bobby and JoAnn Leatherman. A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held 1:00PM Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home. An interment will take place at a later date at Spring Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
