Robert Thomas Stutts, Jr.

Robert Thomas Stutts, Jr., age 55, passed away on September 14, 2025. He was born on January 17, 1970, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Robert Thomas Stutts, Sr. and Patsy Grace Blakney Stutts.

Robert was a 1988 graduate of Columbia Central High School and went on to earn his degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1993. On May 6, 1995, he married the love of his life, Ladell Stocker, and together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and service.

Robert began his career with Auto-Owners Insurance Company in 1994, where his hard work, dedication, and knowledge led him to his role as Senior Underwriter. He also earned the CPCU designation, a reflection of his commitment to excellence in his profession.

A devoted Christian, Robert was deeply involved in Thompson Station Church, where he joyfully volunteered wherever he was needed and welcomed all with kindness and warmth. An Eagle Scout, Robert loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hiking. He also had a lifelong passion for studying history. Above all, Robert will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and a man whose caring heart and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ladell; their sons, William Stutts, Jonathan Stutts, David Stutts, and Timothy Stutts; his sisters, Sandra (John) Tarnovska and Pamela (Stephen) Stephaniak; and his niece, Elizabeth.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with one hour of visitation prior. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thompson Station Church. Pastor Kris Dolberry and Pastor Jay Victory will officiate.
