Mr. Paul Anderson Edwards, age 63 of Lilburn, GA former longtime resident of Spring Hill, TN passed away July 21, 2016 at Eastside Medical Center in Georgia.
Paul was a 1972 graduate of Spring Hill High School, where he was an outstanding football player (#64). Early in his career as a Communications Engineer he built the first satellite uplink truck for St. Thomas Hospital. He later, as a private owner, engineered communication uplinks for ESPN, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and many other major markets. Following this he worked at Crawford Communications in Atlanta, GA for 15 years, and later worked for AT&T.
Paul is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Barron "Punkin" of Lilburn, GA; daughter, Jessica K. Ross of Tullahoma, TN; son, Jonathan Mack Edwards of Nashville, TN; siblings, Harry A. Jr. (Ann) Edwards of Spring Hill, TN, Linda C. (Charles) Morton of Hampshire, TN, Diane (Phil) Bennett of Spring Hill, TN and William H. (Paula) Edwards of Spring Hill, TN; seven grandchildren; many nieces & nephews; other special family members, Arnold Barron, Mark Barron & family, Murray Rosenstein and Elaine B. Alexander. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry A. Sr. and Christine Anderson Edwards; son, Jason Paul Edwards; infant brother, James Randall Edwards and nephew Philip Daniel "Danny" Bennett.
Funeral services will be held 4:00PM (CST) Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Spring Hill, TN, Craig Evans officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mark Barron, Pedro Lorenzo, Steve Howell, Philip Edwards, Ben Jones, Chuck Morton, Hendley Edwards and David Edwards.
