Pamela Elaine Bailey, age 77, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Pamela was born on October 7, 1948, and was the only child of the late Charles and Edna Mae Lewis. She was raised in West Liberty, Kentucky, where she grew up with strong values of faith and family, values that would guide her throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of Morgan County High School.
Pam was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found great joy in caring for her home and the people she loved. As a homemaker, she created a place of warmth, comfort, and togetherness. She was known as an excellent cook, and her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of meals made with love. Her servant’s heart extended beyond her home, as she faithfully served in the kitchen at her church over the years.
A dedicated member of Destiny Church in Columbia, Pam’s life was a reflection of her deep and abiding faith in Jesus. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived out daily, through her kindness and generosity.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her beloved son, Charles Lee Bailey.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her husband, Lee Bailey; her son, Scott (Leigh Anne) Bailey of Lynnville; her daughter-in-law, Susan Bailey of Thompson’s Station; and her grandchildren, Blake (Tiffany) Bailey of Pulaski, Grayson Bailey (Dakota) Bassham of Charleston, South Carolina, Carlee Bailey of Thompson’s Station, and Colton (Katherine) Bailey of Spring Hill, along with one treasured great-grandchild.
Pam will always be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her generous spirit, and her steadfast faith in Jesus. Her life was a beautiful example of quiet devotion and selfless love, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Destiny Church in Columbia, Tennessee, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pamela will be laid to rest in the Garden of Serenity at Spring Hill Memorial Park in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
