HICKS, Mrs. Martha Evelyn Simmons, age 69 of Chapmansboro, TN. October 11, 2012. Proud of her Cherokee heritage. Preceded in death by husband, Floyd Clifton Hicks; parents, B B and Delphia Driver Simmons. Survived by daughters, Judy (Ricky) Carnahan and Peggy (John) McIntosh; brothers, William "Sonny" (Dean) Simmons and Charles "Tiny" (Carol) Simmons; sister, Mary "Doll" Greene; grandchildren, Adam & Sara Carnahan, Jennifer Estep, and Wendy James; seven great grandchildren. Services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home in Spring Hill, TN, Larry Guin, officiating. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Family and Friends to serve as Pallbearers.
