Mr. Leslie Roberts

Mr. Leslie William Roberts, age 91 of Spring Hill, TN passed away October 9, 2014. Born in Gloucester, England to the late Albert and Kate Watts Roberts. Employed by the Gloucester Aircraft Company in England and a veteran of WWII in the British Army. After immigrating to the United States he was employed at Southern California Edison where he later retired. He then moved to Tennessee where he worked at the Franklin Visitors Center and then Kroger of Spring Hill as a greeter. A member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge of Franklin. Preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life, Renee Beckett Roberts; siblings, Norman, Phyllis and Irene. Survived by devoted daughter, Yvonne (Brian) Cox; son, Thomas Roberts; grandchildren, Nicola (Eric) Stadler and Mark (Lena) Cox; great grandchildren, Chris Hannemann, Ricky Stadler, Rachael Stadler and Derek Cox; brother, Victor Roberts; and dear friend, Joyce Liggett. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hiram Masonic Lodge of Franklin, TN.
