Mary (Angela) Johnston, formerly of Spring Hill, TN died in Grantham, Lincolnshire in the UK on April 10, 2019. She was born on Christmas Day in 1935 to the late Daniel and Ellen Parry in Ebbw Vale in Wales.
Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Johnston, in 2010. She is survived by three sons, Neil Johnston (Jill) of Franklin TN, Gareth (Jennifer) of Riehen, Switzerland and Ian of Grantham Lincolnshire in the UK, brother Cedric H. T. Parry (Ann) the UK, five grandchildren and one (soon to be two) great-grandchildren.
There will be a service of Remembrance for Angela on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00am at the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill. Officiants will be Rev. David Sawyer and Rev. Dr. Chris Adams. Angela's family invites all of her many friends and acquaintances to join them in celebrating the life of this extraordinary woman.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Angela's memory to First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill, The American Cancer Society or The American Diabetes Association.
