Margaret Reed

Margaret Derryberry Reed, age 91 of Spring Hill, TN went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2019 at home with her family by her side. Born in Marshall County, TN to the late Cromer Derryberry and Lillian Carrie Crowe Derryberry, she was a long-time member of Glenn's Chapel UMC. She raised four daughters after her late husband passed and was very involved with all their activities growing up. She loved them dearly. She was a kind, gentle and sweet person who loved everyone she met, and they loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Douglas Reed; siblings, Mabel Warren, Rachel Gillis, John Cromer Derryberry and Regina Derryberry. She leaves behind her four daughters, Rachel (Randy) Brown, Gayle (Charlie) Goad, Mary Margaret Dent, Linda (Gary) Pedrick; brother, Edwin Derryberry; grandchildren, Randa and Reesa Brown, Douglas Goad, Hayden and Ethan Dent, Ashley (Josh) Nechrebecki, Lauren (Reno) Grainger and Michaela Bland; great grandchildren, Bridjet and Liam Grainger, Arielle Neckrebecki and a host of loving nieces, nephews and family members. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Randy Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8PM on Friday and one hour prior to service Saturday. Burial will follow at the Crowe Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Sweeney and members of the Spring Hill Masonic Lodge.
