Lydia Sarah Brothers Svejda, 69, of Kissimmee, FL returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Florida Hospital in Orlando. She was born March 2, 1948 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Andrew Howard Brothers and Hazel Hargrove Brothers.
Lydia worked as a Realtor in the Kissimmee area for many years, the last 15 years working for Coldwell Bankers Ackley Realty
where she had countless friends, being admired for her relentless professionalism.
Lydia is survived by her beloved son Matt Williams & wife Glenda; her grandchildren, John, Van and Evelyn Williams. Lydia also leaves behind her brothers and sisters in law, David Brothers & wife Sherry, Mark Brothers & wife Beth; sisters and brothers in law, Barbara Thomas & husband Armour, Linda Vetitoe, Janet Brothers & husband Glen Marshall. Lydia also leaves her beloved nieces and nephews and close friends.
Lydia was an exceptional and incredible person and believed in conservative principles. She loved to encourage young people to be better and successful persons. Also loved to spend time at her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Chorister among other callings. She also enjoyed cooking healthy foods for her family and friends and was an example of perseverance, patient, hardworking, fighter, etc.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3rd as follows: Viewing 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, 5239 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174. Service and Burial 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM at Hargrove Cemetery, Kedron Pike, Maury County TN.
Memorial Service also will be held on Saturday May 6th 10:00 - 11:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1900 N John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34741
