Linda Fahey Greenwood, age 77, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2025.

She was born on August 4th, 1947, in Syracuse, New York, and grew up in both Syracuse and Atlanta. She later made her home in Memphis, Tennessee, where she lived for 60 years before moving to Spring Hill in 2021. Linda graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1965 and retired from Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, where she was known for her compassion and kindness.

Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her big heart and open-door policy, everyone was welcome in her home. She had a special gift for making people feel seen and loved and was often a second mom to many. She loved to cook and bake, especially at Christmas, and was famously known for her Chex Mix.

She was a selfless friend who always asked how others were doing, no matter what she had going on. Her smile, generosity, and warm spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Jean Fahey.

Linda is survived by her children: Teresa Green (Jason), Michael Greenwood (Jamie), and Bobby Greenwood (Pam); and her grandchildren: Wyatt Green, Cooper Green, Garrett Green, Karsyn Greenwood, Kyleigh Greenwood, Cole Greenwood, and Nolan Greenwood. She is also survived by her sisters: Ellen McHone and Laura (Ken) Hron.

She taught those around her how to love big and live fully and she never stopped smiling.
