Lewis Hargrove

Lewis Ray Hargrove, age 72 of Columbia, TN passed away with his family by his side March 24, 2015.
Lewis was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, which would help anybody in need. He served in the National Guard from 1964-1971, then later retired from Georgia Boot Company. He enjoyed UT Vol's sports, fishing and playing different sports. Lewis also coached many youth sports in Spring Hill. But most importantly, Lewis Ray had a strong but quiet presence and support for his family.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis "Bub" and Etta Logan Hargrove; sister, Peggy Jean Hughes.
Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Hargrove of Columbia, TN; sons, Jeff Hargrove of Columbia, TN and Jason (Angie) Hargrove of Culleoka, TN; grandchildren, Cameron, Alyssa, Brady, Dawson, Elijah, Isaac and Isabella Hargrove, Matthew Kennedy and Savannah Sullivan; sisters, Virginia Conner and Barbara (Gerald) Byrd and Uncle William Hargrove.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday, March 27, 2015 at Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Craig Evans and David Graves officiating.
Interment, Stinnett Cemetery. Active pallbearers; Larry, Randy and Greg Conner, Cameron, Brady and Dawson Hargrove, Chris Goodwin and Jeff Belcher. Honorary pallbearers; Elijah and Isaac Hargrove, Ronnie Martin, Larry Peach, Jeff Hardison and Earl Logan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lewis Ray Hargrove Memorial Fund.
