John Harris

John "Johnny" W. Harris, age 66 of Columbia, TN passed away on December 27, 2017. He was born in Thompson Station, TN to the late Robert Harris and Martha Love Harris. Johnny was self-employed as farmer and contractor. He loved loud music and being outdoors. He was a one of a kind person who never met a stranger and was always ready with a joke. He loved God and his family more than anything. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Johnny leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Brenda Latta Harris; daughters, Vanessa Hampton, Melanie (Joe) DuRard, Leigh Anne (Scott) Hudgens, Meghan (Ron) Simmons; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, eight siblings and many more family and friends. He is preceded in death by three siblings. Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Joe Copolo officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Friday and one hour prior to service. Burial in the Harris Cemetery, grandsons and sons-in-law to serve as pallbearers.
