Jeanne Edelman

Jean "Jeanne" Lois Fairer Edelman, age 96, of Spring Hill, Tennessee died peacefully Saturday, September 24, 2016, at home of causes incident to age. Born October 8, 1919 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Maurice Lancelot Fairer and Ethel Giles Kelley. Jeanne was the wife of Joseph S. Edelman who passed away September 13, 1989.
Jeanne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in a variety of callings in the Church, most notably as a temple worker in the Atlanta, Georgia Temple for eleven years. Jeanne performed clerical work for many years at Citizens Jewelry Company and at Peachtree Diamond Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Jeanne was a devoted wife and mother; her husband and children could do no wrong.
Jeanne is survived by eight great-grandchildren: Patrick J. Klomp, Avery and Harper Edelman, Caden, Claire, Dane, Drew and Nick Walker; four grandsons: Joseph Edelman of Draper, Utah, Russell (Sarah) Edelman of Cumming, Georgia, Eric Edelman of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jacob (Anna) Edelman of South Jordan, Utah; two granddaughters: Amanda Rains (William) Walker of Carmel, Indiana and Lauren (Michael) Klomp of Louisville, Kentucky; one son, Roderick (Kathryn) Edelman of South Jordan, Utah; one daughter, Lynn Cheryl Rains of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and a nephew, George (Millie) Edelman of Highland, Michigan.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, October 3, 2016, at 1:00 EDT at Green Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum (Garden of Pine Hill Section), 10993 Alpharetta Highway, Roswell, Georgia 30076 with Roderick Edelman presiding and conducting. Interment will be immediately after the service.
Pallbearers are son, Roderick Edelman; grandsons, Joseph Edelman, Russell Edelman, Eric Edelman, Jacob Edelman; grandsons-in-law, Michael Klomp and William Walker; and great-grandson, Caden Walker.
