Ghanshyambhai Patel

Ghanshyambhai Manibhai Patel, lovingly known as GM. He was born on January 21, 1935 in a small village called Palana in state of Gujarat. He departed this world on 17th June, 2020. He was a gifted artist, and a fantastic engineer, having trained at Emil Linde of Germany. He was very generous, helped many industrial friends without charging any fees or remuneration. He helped many people in many ways, especially in facilitating of education. He and his wife are responsible for many children's education in India; He placed education above all other pursuits. He was a family man, a loving person who took care of his brothers and sisters and even their children.
For all of us, he was as a father figure and will always remain our inspirational force and grounding force. We all miss him more than words can express. We are all praying to the almighty to give his great soul eternal peace.

He is survived by everyone whoever knew him.

GM's life philosophy:

A tongue doesn't get things done.

Family is more than blood.

Family is not flesh and blood. It's time, love, caring and sharing. That's family.

GM in his children's words:
My father didn't tell me how to live -- he lived, and let me watch him do it.
