Elizabeth Felts Norrell

Elizabeth “Betty” Felts Norrell, age 77 of Columbia, TN passed away January 8, 2026. Betty was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Carl Monroe and Ann Elizabeth Moser Felts. She was an EEG Technologist with the Veterans Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was honored to be able to serve children and veterans throughout her career. Betty was passionate about her family, work, and her church family. She sang in the choir and served the Lord with joy and gladness. Betty also enjoyed shopping, traveling, and reading.

Survived by: husband, Tommy Wayne Norrell; sons, Brendan Pruett, Sean Pruett and Christian (Wendy) Pruett; brother, Joe (Jeannie) Felts; brother & sister-in-law, William and Lori Norrell; grandchildren, Justin (Melissa) Poole, Nicole (Brandon) Matthews, Leah Pruett, Maggie Pruett and Zachary (Anna) Butler; great grandchildren, Grayson Poole and Parker Poole.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life inurnment in North Carolina. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or First Baptist Church of Spring Hill, TN
