Don Williams

Don C. Williams, age 77, passed away Saturday July 30, 2016 at his residence in Spring Hill, TN. Don was born in Dickson County, TN and graduated from Dickson County High School. He retired from CSX Railroad and worked part time at TSC of Franklin. A Veteran of the US Air Force, member of the Elks Lodge, and volunteer at Williamson Medical Center. Don enjoyed riding motorcycles and woodworking. Son of the late Charlie and Pauline Corbin Williams. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. Williams. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his daughter , Pollyanna (Wayne) Whitt of Spring Hill, TN; son, Steve Riddle of Spring Hill, TN; granddaughters, Anna Whitt and Tracy Turner; and great-granddaughter, Acelyn Turner. Services will be conducted 4:00PM Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Thomas officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Private burial at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of the Lawrence Grove Baptist Church, Current and Former Employees of L&N and CSX Railroad, Staff of Williamson Medical Center and all his loving family and friends. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
