Bobby J. Kraemer, 74, of Columbia, TN, passed away after a lengthy illness on June 20, 2026.
Born on August 10,1951 in Franklin, LA to Blaise and Doris Kraemer, Bobby grew up in Beaumont, TX. In his early career he was a carpenter and worked for commercial builders. He then ventured into residential homes as a Warranty Tech. After retiring he worked in the job he loved most – working at the Vanderbilt Legends Golf Course.
Beyond his work, Bobby found joy in his family, traveling, softball, bowling, and golf. He will be remembered for his kindness and humor, his love for his family and friends, and the way he never met a stranger.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Debbie Kraemer ; daughter Teryn Kraemer, son Ian Kraemer and wife Carly, and daughter Danielle Pugsley; 11 wonderful grandchildren Madison, Devyn, Dylan, Landon, Deacon, Elijah, Gavon, Connor, Ryman, Hudson Gray, and Palmer; siblings Ken Kraemer and wife Dianne, Peggy Morgan and husband Jack, and Sharon Tyus and husband Nelson; brother in laws Lance Wallace and wife Belinda, Gary Wallace and fiancée Julie; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Susan Barbo, and nephew Justin Hoose.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1st from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The Pavilion at the Vanderbilt Legends Golf Course.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. David Morgan and the Vanderbilt Oncology team and Vanderbilt Palliative Care Unit.
