Arthur Brandau

Arthur J. Brandau, age 92 of Thompson Station, TN passed away on January 18, 2018. Born in Frankfort, IL to the late George Brandau and Lillian Andres Brandau. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard serving during WWII. Retired from General Motors after 33yrs of service and was a member of the UAW Local 558 in Willow Springs, IL. He enjoyed traveling and learning the history of the Civil War. He was a car guy who loved going to classic car shows with his family and he would always pull pranks on his friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by wife, Barbara Brandau; brothers, Edwin and Loyd Brandau; great grandchild, Taylor Papesh. He leaves behind children, James "Jim" (Janet) Brandau, William (Peggy) Brandau and Cindy (Jason) Louallen; sister, LaVonne Lichtenwalter; grandchildren, Bernie (Janice) Papesh, Noah & Olivia Brandau, Jesse Daniels and Trent Louallen; great grandchildren, CJ, Joshua and Andrew Papesh.
